  • Description

"The English poet William Wordsworth was born here in 1770. It was the childhood home of William and his sister Dorothy. It is a Georgian townhouse, situated in the Main Street of Cockermouth. Now a museum, and in the care of the National Trust it also has a well tended garden." Photo by Jennifer Petrie, 2019.
