"House, C17, two builds, with late C19 alterations. Roughly-squared stone with cut dressings; pantile roof with old brick stacks. East elevation 2 storeys, 3 irregular bays.....Formerly one of the two Seaton Lodge Cottages; the Lodge itself, Sir John Delaval's 'finest thatched house in the kingdom', stood a short distance north and was demolished c1965...." -
