  • Description

"Not to be outdone by the display of yellow bikes in the neighbouring village of Melmerby (see [[4572614]]), the inhabitants of Langwathby have set about the task of adorning their village with at least 25 yellow bikes in anticipation of the Aviva Tour of Britain 2015. Stage 5 of the Tour on September 10th runs from Prudhoe in the Tyne valley to the finish on Hartside Pass. This example takes pride of place in a prominent position on the village green."
