    "...Meldon is a small community in Mid Northumberland west of Morpeth. The Parish is dispersed with a small of small settlements and outlying farms. In the 2011 Census, there were 248 people living in the Parish in 113 households. The Parish Council has a maximum of nine Councillors. The Councils meets about five times a year with extra meetings if necessary...."
