Tooled squared stone; Scottish slate roof. 8 piers with later boarded infill between; larger stepped piers at north and south. Conical roof. Interior: roof structure in suspension, with central pendant post linked to principal rafters by radial collars and raking struts; 2 levels of curving purlins. Blocked Gothic-arched opening for drive shaft, in adjacent barn wall...."
