"Attwood Place Nos. 1-5 consecutive GV II Terrace of houses. Mid C19 for Attwood, owner of Weardale Iron Company. Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar quoins and dressings; left 3 bays rendered. Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings and yellow brick chimneys. 2 storeys, 9 bays, the central 3 projecting slightly under low gable....."
