Hammer dressed red sandstone, slate roof with coped gables, cross finial and decorative ridge tiles. ....Interior, Norman pillar piscina with decorated shaft; heraldic graveslab to John Denton, c1390; effigies of John Aglionby and Katherine Denton, 1428, brought from St Cuthberts, Carlisle, in 1778; wall tablet to Francis Aglionby by M.L. Watson, 1843. Tower demolished 1983...."
