Wall bridge over Forthburn Beck

  • Description

"There doesn't seem to be a route onto this arch to use it as a bridge (and it would be pretty precarious), so it appears to be just a way of taking the wall across Forthburn Beck. The pipe and hanging livestock fence would have seemed to be enough to keep animals from using the stream to get to the next field - maybe part of the specification for Streatlam Park was that it should be artistic."
