Yardheads, Tweedmouth

  • Description

"This path follows the ancient line of farmsteadings in Tweedmouth. There is debate as to whether the term 'yardheads' refers to the edge of the garden/steading areas, or to the yard (3 feet, 36 inches, 90 cm)of crop-rearing fields which was reaped to check the quality of the crop."
