"Parish Church. 1870-1 by Cory & Ferguson. Large split grey granite boulders (brought as ballast in ships from Ireland) on chamfered plinth; string courses, quoins and dressings of limestone. Welsh slate roof with bands of greenslate; decorative ridge tiles, coped gables and cross finials. North-east, south-west alignment. 3-storey west tower/porch with broach spire, 5-bay nave...." -
