    "The plaque reads: The Northern Viaduct Trust Constructed the path, built the Millennium bridge, created the interpretation huts and restored the viaducts Podgill Viaduct and the Millennium bridge were opened 6th June 2000 by Lord Inglewood Merrygill Viaduct and the completed path were opened 13th July 2005 by Sir Neil Cossons OBE Chairman of English Heritage The National Railway Heritage Award plaque was unveiled on 10th May 2006 by Sir Chris Bonnington CBE See http://www.nvt.org.uk/" Photo by Ian Taylor, 2011.
