XIII AN MXCIII', on east 'MALCOLM'S CROSS DECAYED BY TIME RESTORED BY HIS DESCENDANT ELIZ. DUCHESS OF NORTHUMBERLAND MDCCLXXIV'........On west is block inscribed 'THE ANCIENT PEDESTAL OF MALCOLMS CROSS KING OF SCOTLAND', with part of bracelet cross head fixed into it...."
