Old Milestone near Crosscanonby


There is an old milestone by the B5300 road north-west of Crosscanonby and south-west of the old Saltpans. The milestone dates from the late 18th or early 19th century, which was errected for the Wigton-Workington Turnpike road. The milestone is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
