Old Bewick
Old Bewick is a hamlet in Northumberland, situated near the River Breamish, located about 9 miles north-west of Alnwick. It is known for its 12th-century Church of the Holy Trinity and nearby prehistoric sites, including Bronze Age cairns and Iron Age hillforts. Historically, Old Bewick was a township, in the ancient parish of Eglingham. In 1866, Old Bewick and the surrounding area became a civil parish. Since 1955, it has been part of Bewick Civil Parish.
