Northumberland Line


  • Integrated fares with the Tyne & Wear Metro were agreed by the Joint Transport Committee on the 19th March 2024 (with interchanges at Central Station, Manors, and Northumberland Park).
  • The line opened to passengers on Sunday, 15th December, 2024 (Ashington, Seaton Delaval, Manors & Newcastle Central Station).
  • Stations at Bedlington, Blyth Bebside, Newsham and Northumberland Park to open during 2025.
