Milestone by the B6254, Old Town, Mansergh


There is an old milestone by the B6254, at the junction with Old Scotch Lane, in Old Town, Mansergh. The milestone is though to date from the early 19th century. It sits on what was the Kendal to Kirkby Lonsdale turnpike road, established in 1753. The milestone is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
