Lime Kilns, Hobberlaw
There are a pair of lime kilns located to the north-west of Hobberlaw and south-west of High Hobberlaw. They probably date from the 19th century, with the eastern kiln built first. The kilns are lined with firebrick, with six draw arches around the kiln, each with one eye. There are also remains of a track which would have been used to transport the raw materials to the kilns. The pair of kilns are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
