Langley Park Primary School

Langley Park Primary School is located on 'Behind May Terrace' in Langley Park in County Durham. It is a community school with about 200 pupils aged 2 to 11. A scene from the 2000 film 'Billy Elliot' was filmed in the PE changing rooms of the school. The school building had previously been Langley Park County Girls' School (c.1910) and in 1953 this became Langley Park County Junior Mixed School. The County Junior and Infants' Schools were amalgamated in September 1980.
