Irton


Irton is a hamlet in the Copeland district of Cumbria, which includes Irton Hall and a few cottages. The settlement, situated by the River Irt, is located about 8½ miles south-east of Egremont and 1½ miles north-east of the village of Holmrook. It forms part of the Irton with Santon Civil Parish.
