Hazon House

Hazon House is located in the hamlet of Hazon in Northumberland. The house is dated 1684 with the initials "R E" (Robert and Elizabeth Lisle) above the front door. The house possibly incorporates earlier fabric. Hazon House was extended to the rear in the late 18th century, and a west extension dated 1887. Whellan's directory of 1855 notes "The whole [Hazon] township is farmed by John Hogg. Esq., of Hazon House". Hazon House is Grade II listed building on the National Heritage List for England. The range of farm buildings and attached walls to the east of the house date from the 18th century and are seperately Grade II listed.
