Hawkhead Market HallHawkshead Market Hall and Market Hall Cottage are located in The Square, Hawkshead. The building dates from 1790 and this was previously an Assembly Room and the Town Hall and an adjacent house. The building was enlarged in 1887. Hawkshead Market Hall and Market Hall Cottage are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. Today, the building is managed by The Hawkshead Market Hall Trust, which is a registered charity and The Assembly Room and lower room of the building can be rented as a function room.
