Grubb, Parsons and Co. Ltd


Grubb-Parsons was a a telescope manufacturer with premises in Newcastle. It was originally founded in 1833 in Dublin by Thomas Grubb as the Grubb Telescope Company, joined in 1864 by his son Howard. In 1925 the company was acquired by Sir Charles Algernon Parsons and renamed Sir Howard Grubb, Parsons and Co. Ltd. The company traded up until 1985.
