Greenburn Beck
Greenburn Beck is a river in Cumbria, which feeds into Little Langale Tarn on the River Rathay. There was copper mining in the valley of Greenburn Beck from at least the 17th century. The remains of Greenburn Copper Mine are roughly half way down the valley. A dam was built on the beck to form Greenburn Reservoir, to provide water for the mine workings.
