Graythwaite


Graythwaite is a hamlet in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, situated to the west of Windermere (lake) and located about 4 miles south of Hawkshead and 3 miles north of Newby Bridge. It primarily consists of the Graythwaite Estate, centred around Graythwaite Hall. In addition, there is Graythwaite Low Hall. Graythwaite forms part of Satterthwaite Civil Parish.
