Former Kearstwick Institute


This former reading room and institute at Kearstwick was built in 1902. It was built by Henry and Olivia Bentinck of nearby Underley Hall in memory of Thomas Earl of Bective. The Institute closed in the 1990s and the building was converted into a residential dwelling. The Free Gothic style building is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
