Empire Clough (launched 1942)


The Empire Clough was a cargo ship built by J Readhead & Sons Ltd in South Shields. The ship was launched on the 2nd of April, 1942. Sadly the Empire Clough was torpedoed & sunk by a German U-Boat on the 10th  of June 1942, during her maiden voyage, with the loss of 5 of her crew.[1]
