Burnopfield Methodist Chapel


Burnopfield Methodist Church on Front Street in Buropfield was built in 2000 and stands on the site of the former Haswell Memorial Chapel. The first Methodist Chapel in Buropfield was built in 1775. A Methodist Society was founded after John Wesley visited Burnopfield where he preached in a garden in Sheep Hill in March 1746.
