Boer War Memorial, Millom


This memorial is located in a square enclosure in the churchyard of St George's Church in Millom. The memorial, in the form of a Celtic Cross, commemorates 9 local men who lost their lives in the Second Boer War (1899-1902). It is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
