Benfieldside

An ecclesiastical parish in County Durham, incorporating parts of north Consett and Shotley Bridge. There is no distinct village of Benfieldside as such, but the name is still used locally, and present in 'Benfieldside Road' and 'Benfieldside Primary School'. The Church of St Cuthbert is the parish church of Benfieldside.
