Barrow A.F.C.


Barrow Association Football Club was founded on the 16th of July 1901 in Barrow-in-Furness. Initially the team played at the Strawberry Ground, later moving to Ainslie Street, then Little Park in Roose, and to their current stadium on Holker Street in 1909. The team are know as 'The Bluebirds'.

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England and Cumbria.
