Ashington Farmhouse

Ashington Farmhouse is located on Wansbeck Road, at the western edge of Ashington. The house dates from the 18th century, probably incorporating the fabric of an earlier building. It pre-dates most of modern Ashington. There are new houses built around the farm on Shire Farm Grove. The farmhouse is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
