Angerton South Moor


Angerton South Moor (aka Angertonmoor Cottage) is a former farmhouse, located about 7 miles west of Morpeth and ¾mile south-west of the hamlet of Low Angerton in Northumberland. The location appears as "Angertonmoor Cottage" on OS maps, and is listed as Angerton Moor Cottage, under the township of Low Angerton, in the 1860 Northumberland Farms Index (Northumberland Archives). The farmhouse was renovated and sold in 2008. Today, Angerton South Moor is part of Hartburn Civil Parish.
