Abbeyfield Lodge, Kirkby Lonsdale


Abbeyfield Lodge is a house on Fairbank (street) in Kirkby Lonsdale. It was built in 1825 (datestone) and is  the former town lodge of Underley Hall. The disused driveway of The Hall passes between Abbeyfield Lodge and the house opposite, The Gables. Abbeyfield Lodge is a Grade II listed building on the National Heritage List for England. Today, the former lodge is part of The Fairbank Society, which provide independent supported living accommodation.
