Wooler to Alnwick Stop Line


The Wooler to Alnwick "Stop Line" was a series of defensive fortifications built in Northumberland, during the Second World War. These included pillboxes, loopholed walls, and other defensive structures. They were built by the Northern Command in preparation for an anticipated invasion by the German army.
