WOODSIDE-QUARTER, a township, in the parish and union of Wigton, ward, and E. division of the county, of Cumberland, 3 miles (E. by N.) from Wigton; containing 745 inhabitants. A school for the poor is partly supported by the interest of £3,000 raised by subscription.
