The Crockets Hotel, Walker


The Crockets Hotel is a public house by the junction of Mitchell Street and Forster Street in the Wincomblee area of Walker. it was originally named the Wincomblee Hotel, which was owned by Armstrong Whitworth and opened c.1913. In 1937 Robert Deuchar bought it for £2,750; later it became a Scottish and Newcastle pub. (Sitelines).
