Skinningrove Jetty
The jetty at Skinningrove was built c.1886 and opened in 1888 to be used for loading pig iron from the Skinningrove Works on to ships for transport to Grangemouth in Scotland.[1] The jetty had been closed off, but in 2015 work began on reopening Skinningrove Jetty, as part of a £3.8m flood defence scheme.[2]
