1802, ( Jan. 7.) - About one o'clock in the morning, part of the high wall, (to the length of 60 or 70 feet ) of All Saints' churchyard, Newcastle, fell into Silver street, with a most tremendous crash, knocking in doors and windows of some of the houses opposite, and exposing to view many coffins and their contents, and vast quantities of human bones. Happily no lives were lost, nor was any person injured.
