Romano-British farmstead, west of Rattenraw


The remains of a Romano-British farmstead are situated on a south facing slope above Rattenraw Burn, located about 330m west of Rattenraw (farm). The remains are relatively well-preserved (for a site of this age) and retain significant archaeological deposits.[1] It is one of a group of similar Romano-British settlements in the area. This is a Scheduled Monument on the National Heritage List for England.
