    A screenshot from the film 'Carry on Loving' (1970) Pictured here are.. Sid James (1913-1976), one of my all time comedy heroes.. ..and Hattie Jacques (1922-1980) I got Hattie's autograph after she opened a Sports fun day and fête in Chelmsford UK on the 5th October 1980. The very next day she died of a heart attack aged just 58. It has remained one of my most treasured possessions. This is one of at least three Sid and Hattie 'being married' scenarios i can think of in the 'carry on' films. Bless 'em both!
