Stricklandgate, Kendal in 1984

  • Description

"Showing the street before it was pedestrianised. The building on the left, nearest to the camera, is The Woodpack Hotel. Judging by the scaffolding it is undergoing repairs to its fabric. It was rebuilt in 1791 and is one of the oldest buildings in Kendal." Photo by John Baker, 1984.
