    "A bronze statue of a helmeted WW1 soldier, with rifle slung over his right soldier, standing atop a stone plinth, the top corner of each is adorned with a bronze wreath of laurels.The front face bears the general commemoration for WW1, and the remaining three sides bear the names of those who fell in WW1 on large bronze plaques. The names are listed alphabetically by surname, with either initials, first name or abbreviated name: no ranks or units are listed. On the lower two tiers of the base of the plinth the names of those who fell in WW2 are listed in a similar manner, but include decorations where applicable. On the rear face, above the WW2 name plaque, is a smaller plaque listing the name of one who fell in the Korean War...."
