    "Bridge.1788 by Robert Mylne,widened to north 1911. Squared stone with cut dressings, soffit partly brick. South elevation: 2 segmental arches with arch rings, with pilaster buttress between springing from triangular cutwater. Band below parapet which has gabled coping and corbelled-out end pilasters with low pyramidal caps. North elevation similar but without arch rings and with full-height flanking pilasters....."
