Ambleside and the fells from Latterbarrow

  • Description

"To see this I had to walk north a short distance from the imposing monument on top of the fell. When the slope falls away it opens up this fine prospect of Ambleside at the top of Windermere with the Fairfield fells and Red Screes towering above. The steeple of St Mary's Church http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/949458 is just visible towards the left edge of the town." Photo by Karl and Ali, 2012.
