    "Opened in 1879 by the North Eastern Railway as the terminus of the line from Pelaw, this station closed in 1984. View north towards the end of the line. The station was on the bend and had an overall roof. The replacement Metro station is immediately behind the camera position." Photo by Nigel Thompson, 2012.
