Nose of de Havilland Comet 4C [G-BEEX]

    c/n 6458. Built 1962 as SU-ALM for Egyptair but immediately leased to United Arab Airlines. Returned to Egyptair in 1971 and flew with them until retired in 1976 and bought by Dan-Air for spares. Broken up in 1977 with the nose saved for preservation. Currently stored in a corner of the main hangar at the North East Land, Sea & Air Museums (NELSAM), Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, UK. 11th September 2017
