Mock-up Handley-Page Jetstream nose – NELSAM. 11-9-2017

  • Description

This is a mock-up nose section which is believed to have been exhibited at the 1968 Farnborough SBAC show. It was previously on display at the South Yorkshire Aviation Museum in Doncaster and wore a USAF colour scheme to represent a time when the type was expected to see American service as the C-10. It has now been repainted to represent an RAF Jetstream, the type seeing service from 1974 to 2003 as a multi-engined trainer. On display at the North East Land, Sea & Air Museums (NELSAM), Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, UK. 11th September 2017.
