Description
"1710. Small foursquare building, altered on North face. Local mottled brick. Pyramidal roof of modern pantiles has square central tower with clock, bell- openings, cupola and vane. Arcaded ground floor, two by two bays. North side arches filled and central opening inserted. Stone key and impost blocks to arches. First floor sash windows with glazing bars in exposed wood frames. Plaques: (1) War memorial; (2) Flood marks; (3) Memorial to pioneers of Stockton and Darlington Railway...." -
