Description
Union Chain Bridge is a suspension bridge across the River Tweed between Horncliffe in England and Fishwick in Scotland. When it opened in 1820 it was the longest wrought iron suspension bridge in the world and the first vehicular bridge of its type in the UK. Today it is the oldest suspension bridge still carrying road traffic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Bridge_(Tweed)" rel="nofollow">en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Bridge_(Tweed) -
