Two new primary schools proposed

    Shields Gazette, 5th August 2010. "AMBITIOUS plans to provide South Tyneside children and young people with two new primary schools are set to move forward when senior councillors meet next week. The council's cabinet will be asked to agree recommendations to progress work on the rebuilding of Stanhope Primary School in Gresford Street, South Shields, and the creation of a new school in Whiteleas, which will be named Forest View Primary School.....Forest View Primary School will be built on the Albert Elliott Primary School site in Rembrandt Avenue. It will replace Temple Park Infant, Temple Park Junior and Albert Elliott Primary Schools to form a community school for Whiteleas...."
